Definitely go for the short tails, or have custom work done. I debated for months whether or not I wanted them. I was afraid of it being way too loud.

I decided on going to a local shop and having them custom make my own "short tails". It was much cheaper and the sound is essentially the same. The first day I had the work done, I was like WOW this thing is really loud. After awhile though, you realize its not all that loud. It does sound like a sports car should. It is fairly loud when you get on it (sounds amazing, have had many compliments) but if you are driving "normal" or cruising the interstate, you will barely notice it is even there.
