Default Help ASAP!!!! :eekdance::eekdance:

I'm putting this here because more people look here. Sorry mods.

I got a OEM mani ported as a lot of you know from my thread ( http://www.the370z.com/intake-exhaus...torsports.html ) and my mani is from a g37. It's like 97% the same. The difference I need help with is the bolts for the mani need to be longer. The 370z has a very short cylinder the bolts run through vs the g37 which are very long. Is this just a G thing or is it because I have a 13 Z where a ton is different vs a 09-12 Z? Can anyone confirm and measure a bolt in the mani if you have a older Z? Need my car 20 min ago.

Thanks

I don't have an older Z, nor do I have the stock bolts, but the bolts that were sent by Z1 are 3". I hope this helps in some way...

I have a 1971 and 72 240Z and several engines/manifolds, etc. of various years. Are those old enough? I can measure the manifold bolts real quick -- let me know.

You could just bring the bolt to ace hardware or any hardware store and get a bolt the same threading but a little longer. It is not gonna be OEM but it will do the job. Otherwise, if all you need is the 3" bolt they are refering to, I'm sure you can order it at any nissan parts store online, or dealership

Correction, i noticed he said Z1, so that is not OEM

I hate to say it, because I fully understand the plight you are in, but your best bet is to probably run over to a dealership and just order the correct length bolts. With a bit of luck, they can get them that day or within a couple of days.

Good luck!

Like Akurei said - just head over to your local hardware store and get some longer grade 8 bolts. Better yet, if you have a local speed shop then go over there and get some metric ARP bolts.

There's no reason to have to wait for OEM bolts to be ordered...

3's to long. That's why I was asking for someone to measure. Bolts are measured under the head to the tip. I did my best and ended with a 70mm or 2.75". Should be ok.

Op,

Technically support threads belong in the tech section, and as such this has been moved.

If the problem is low activity? You can bump your thread once a day to keep it active.

There is NO need to apologize as its understandable.

Hope you get your issue sorted out.
