Can I ask... was it worth the $$$ and effort?
It's a pretty cheap mod, but I've seen mixed reports on whether it's better to have the smooth tubes or a slightly turbulent airflow via the accordion tubes? What's your butt dyno telling you? |

It's cheap enough where there is no hard feelings either way. Look at it as replacing rubber with silicone, and I did the K&N drop ins as well, so more airflow. I will also say I would have gladly paid someone to install. Sent from my LG-D800 using Tapatalk

My 370z is in the process of being etuned remotely with ECUtek. The data logger software that comes with the tune allows the user to monitor and record the maf . By comparing the maf before and after a mod, you can determine if the mod increased the air flow into the engine. If you can increase the maf with a mod, the potential is there for more power with the correct fueling and timing. It would be interesting to test the silicone post maf tubes relative to the stock accordion tubes to see if the smooth tubes increase flow.
