Loudest exhaust set up out there?

Hi guys, I just got a 370z and the exhaust set up is way too quiet for me. What is the loudest set up out there without bypassing the cats?

The AAM Short tails. Incidentally, they're also among the most overpriced exhaust products out there: muffler deletes that you have to pay $500+ for.

i have the greddy turbo tic exhaust and stock cats.... thing is loud

Sh0velMan 03-19-2014 11:22 AM

I guess they've lowered the price of the 'base model' tails down to $429. So at least sub $500 now... Still...

Was considered loudest thing in my city for awhile :p
But finally straightened out my A/F raios so shut her up :ugh2:

Best bet is probably GT Haus paired with some HFC's since you don't want to eliminate the cats. fwiw a Z34 with full GT Haus CBE is almost as loud as my Z with LTH's and F.I. non-res CBE.

My Non res- FI with no cats ans z1 headers was bone rattilng loud to say the least, glad I got this turbo to turn down the volume for me :) FI non res is essentially straight pipe with 2 inline mufflers at the rear, and still sounds good.

Depending on how much you want to spend, Meisterschaft is a great choice. Combining their axle back with the mid pipe and front Y pipe collector, will give you an awesome sound. I'll include a quick clip of a setup this setup.

AAM Short Tails paired with the AAM S-Line Mid Pipes. Would range about $1100. Just get a deal worked out with the vendor.

That is misleading.

AAM short tails + headers + a midpipe = WAY louder than short tails alone.

The GTHaus sounds stupid loud in the videos. And they look sexy as f*ck too!

Can't go wrong with fi non-res and LTH!

Just buy a x pipe and go to a shop to weld up 2.5" straight pipes. This is basically that but I have 2 18" resonators in the mid pipes. The 5k rev maxes out my db reader at 130 db from about 4 feet away. I never tested at further distance. In the car with windows up or down under wot the meter reads 113 db. I do have an ART type catless test pipe setup though.

PS, play this through your tv speakers :)

Dear God. Do you drive with hearing protection? On a track that's going to get you black flagged, isn't it?

He said without getting rid of his cats...

I doubt changing the mid pipe will change the loudness very much.
