Engine tick video

Sorry for being a noob but I searched here and google and still cant find a definitive answer on this.

1. Is this normal?

2. What is it?

I just want one clear answer...you wouldn't believe how many different responses come up in a search. Lots of you say it is normal...is this true?

Mine just started at 2600 miles. I only hear it at idle and only if I have just taken the revs up high...I only have to do it once to 7K for it to start. Yes it is full of oil

Hey OP just wanted to comment I like your setup on your car, BEAST!, and yea I too wanna know about this because I hear it in my Z too when idle. I'm not sensitive about the ticking noise though but some facts could be helpful to ease up on the over thinking

I can't watch the video, but the 370Z's fuel injectors are LOUD. And it can be valve chatter

Sounds pretty normal to me! Now my noisy clutch is really starting to bother me!

It is if yours is the only one that does it. It's not if all of our cars do it.

I get that exact same noise too, I consider it normal. I have no idea whether it's injectors or valve-related, but either way the car doesn't fall apart.
