Really not trying to hijack the thread but....

In the end dyno's must have been created by a woman, and are like women, results may vary depending on the time of the month, weather, or mood. Why couldn't they be more like a man. Boring and consistent, then that would be no fun.

So if you want to judge real results look at timeslips

timeslips have even more variables than dyno's....:icon14:

they both have a ton of variables I agree but typically you can chart your progress better on the track if you are a consistent driver.

Would be, but probably never will be.
Any updates Lou? :)

Not yet, We will be picking up the car today, just don't know when exactly. Still waiting for the phone call.

Results will be posted by them. Keep in mind guys that we are just helping them by letting them use our Z and we are not doing the results ourselves. I will ask them nicely to post the dyno asap and videos to follow. Hopefully we get the results ASAP and hopefully you guys know that this is completely out of my control.

we know it is all your fault lou!! :rofl2:

theDreamer 09-18-2009 12:40 PM

Oh I know it is out of your control, but I just need someone to hound about it. ;)

yep, even if it nets zero whp if the sound is good i think it's worth having. just not acceptable to be loosing hp.

LOU@AMPLIFIED 09-18-2009 07:42 PM

Got the numbers today. Keep in mind it was done at 95+ deg temp here in socal(CORONA) on a mustang dyno

hp = 8.57 tq = 9.18

I'm still waiting on the dyno sheet:tup:

First car tested had 1000 miles on it and was done during spring time, about 70deg.
Our car has 3000 miles and it was hot yesterday

How is the response? Do these offer any benefit to the overall characteristic of the response/low/mid/top end? Also, is there a different model number associated with these intakes? Sorry if the questions have already been answered...

i can live with that...although i would still like to install mines ram air ducts in the bumper and zeto heat vents in the hood

steven88 09-18-2009 09:31 PM

pretty acceptable numbers...as long as it sounds nice and is a decent gain above stock, i'm sure most people will be happy with intakes
