thats cool to know! Like I said, I'm happy. I don't really think any other exhaust would add any more than 1-2 in the combo with my test pipes and G3 intake anyway. There may be better ones as the only mod, but once you get a few, they really don't add a whole lot anyways.

Great numbers for the price!

This is what i got from invidia today, we are going for another dyno run next week since they didn't reset the ecu after the install. Sorry for the delay guys.:tup:

antennahead 10-09-2009 06:28 PM

Still not too bad for a first run, considering the changes made to the exhaust.

TonyBPD 10-09-2009 06:35 PM

Does the ECU really need to be reset for just a CBE?

Red370 10-09-2009 08:51 PM

wow, that first run was really really low on HP and TQ, what is the elevation there? I did mine on the same dyno/software setup and put down 271 and 240, this is as 4,000 ft. ASL

Red370 10-09-2009 08:52 PM

and its always a good idea to reset the ECU after an aspiration upgrade, it gives the computer time to adjust for the increase in air flow.

LOU@AMPLIFIED 10-10-2009 11:54 PM

thank you for the orders:tup:

jpit 10-11-2009 12:14 AM

Now that is what I call a review. This looks like a great exhaust.

bluestyle55 10-25-2009 10:12 PM

Did you ever get an update after your 10/9 post Lou? You had indicated doing another run after the ECU was reset.

bradz 10-26-2009 01:17 AM

Can you PM me the price too. I appreciate it.

LOU@AMPLIFIED 10-30-2009 07:22 PM

I would like to apologize in advance for the late response on all PM'S. Sorry crunch time for SEMA. I will have my laptop next week while we are at the convention. I will try to get to my PM'S as soon as my busy schedule will allow.

THANK YOU and i'll post pictures up on any new products for the G37 and any other worthy pictures of cars and models:biggthumpup:

Gunzero 11-04-2009 10:38 AM

Hey Lou! Please pm the price for the 370z Invidia Gemini exhaust including shipping and the average installation cost so I can check my bank and see if I have the money. If I do, then I'll order them in a heartbeat. They are sick! Thanks again.

TonyBPD 11-15-2009 12:20 PM

Anyone else have this exhaust on their car? What are your thoughts? I'm really digging the price on this piece. Still need some more feedback before I pull the trigger.

I'd like to hear from some owners as well .......... comments on performance, sound, fit 'n finish...........

Wow, I'm impressed with the deep sound, and no rasp! looks like somebody was listening to the customers

Combine that with a great price, and you can see why some of us are interested in this one. The initial dyno only yielded about 12 HP I believe, versus 18 for the origional Q300, but there was only one run. They need more and I would love some Z owners who've installed this one to comment.

I can't speak for its dyno numbers but the sound it produces with the Berk HFC is just perfect for me. It's not too loud to attract cops but the car will still roar upon command.

Anyways, I heard my exhaust from the outside for the first time when the valet drove off somewhat aggressively. I know it's my car and all but I couldn't help to think "damn that sounds sexy as hell." :D

Sounds great. I am going to install with the stock cats, so it should be fine for me, as I want "civil" under cruising conditions, and only "badazz" when I get on it. Thanks.

Thanks Molamann, for the insight! make's me feel alot better going this route!

My good deed for the day. :D

TonyBPD 11-15-2009 02:41 PM

I'm gonna roll with my stock cats as well. I don't want the car too loud.

How about the "butt dyno", any noticable increase in torque or HP? Did it "feel" a little more responsive?

John

tcarretti 11-18-2009 04:13 PM

Thank you for the order Tony.

bluestyle55 11-18-2009 09:34 PM

I just installed the Gemini on my Z and it sounds soooo freekn good. And the best part is no highway drone. Matter of fact, at any speed, as long as you have it at a low enough RPM you can heardly hear anything. Yet when you get on it it comes to life. I am still putting together video's before and after and hope to have them posted in a week or so.

I think this is going to be the best exhaust to match with high flow cats for guys who want performance without the loud sound.

Tcarretti - looking forward to hear what you think both sound like together. I am hoping to get my high flow cat in a few months (probably after I get my intakes).

tcarretti 11-18-2009 10:38 PM

I'm really looking forward to getting this installed. The sound clips were exactly what I was looking for, so I hope that "live" it will be just as good.

BTW- a question for Mike:

Did you use steel wool when you installed your test pipes to reduce the risk of a cel with the Berk's or did you just install them straight away?

Thanks,

Tony

puckshaw 11-19-2009 07:46 AM

Price for me too please ;)

Just a straight install. The Berks have a long extension for the sensors on them, which is I think why they don't normally throw codes, other than that first time that I mentioned on the racetrack.
