Default Stillen-Y Exhaust Pipe + AAM SHORT TAIL EXHAUST

I just purchased my 2009 Z touring couple months ago.
My previous owner installed K&N SRI already.

Now, I am trying to replace my stock exhaust with an AAM short-tail exhaust which sounds amazing. I was wondering if I can install the Stillen Y-exhaust pipe with the AAM shortail.

Please leave some suggestions and useful knowledge.

Thanks guys.

If the midpipe is still OEM and its not a Nismo then the Stillen Y-pipe will be fine with the OEM mid pipe and the AAM short tails. The midpipe is a bottle neck though for flow.

+1 ^^

The biggest choker in the non nismo exhaust is the Y pipe, then the reverse Y in the intermediate pipe. We also make a midpipe which is actually a 2 piece system, that replicates the stock Nismo exhaust but 2.5" all throughout. This bolts right up to the stock muffler or short tails or any axle back system out there that would fit to the stock midpipe
