Idk too much about test pipes but I know that the ART pipes are popular around here. Motordyne and ark sell them, I can't remember if F.I. sells them. As far as installation I think you can do them. Any lights going off? That's what I'm not too sure about. I've read a couple of times that if you purchase the pipes w/ an L bend for the O2 sensor you should be fine. I don't have test pipes so I don't know that much about them. Hopefully this helps and someone w/ a little more knowledge chimes in. Good luck bud!

Motordyne ART pipes and the ARK resonated test pipes both use helmholtz resonators, while other resonated test pipes such as Fast Intentions and MXP use regular straight through resonators.
These will be quieter and have less rasp than the simple straight pipe test pipes.
The ART pipes and Fast intentions are both pretty popular.

There you go hey bud let me know how the motordyne intake manifold works for you. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna get one in the near future. Thanks!

For the quality, go with the fast intentions or the motordyne. Fast intentions has the build in "L" shaped extension bungs to take care of the check engine light. Otherwise you might want to get one of those.

I have resonated test pipes. You will most likely throw a CEL. I would have a shop install them, as the bolts which connect the catalytic converters to the headers can be very difficult to get off and often break.

I have art pipes that will be here today! So far it seems to have some of the best reviews for sound and performance. Ive done countless hours of research before I finally pulled the plug on parts and that was the conclusion I came to. I will be installing them tomorrow as well so I can let you know how it goes, I really am not seeing anything that is going to cause too much of an issue.

They will sound great! Just be ready for the VQ hiss on decelleration and certain RPM ranges. A little rasp too, but you'll get over it.
