I did some searching and i only found mods for running stock intake with random mods for stock airbox. I am thinking it would be best if i could take

SRI + Modded airbox
I did some searching and i only found mods for running stock intake with random mods for stock airbox. I am thinking it would be best if i could take a dremmel to the top and intake side of the box to run with my k & n short ram intake. Basically, further direct the cold air from the bumper tube, and a little bit of a heat shield on the sides/bottom? Would be something like partially open top,open back, closed sides,closed bottom.(however much i gotta dremel to fit the filter in there.)
Has this been discussed or tried. Any reasons why its a bad idea? |
