I just got the top speed pro 1 cat back exhuast and k&n filters when I get them installed at the shop should I undo the negative on the battery

question about install of exhuast and k&n filters
I just got the top speed pro 1 cat back exhuast and k&n filters when I get them installed at the shop should I undo the negative on the battery to reset the ecu or not? Or does it automatically I just itself...sry for such a noob question...

You can do the reset. It will help the ecu adjust faster although it may run like **** for a day or so. It will adjust over time without a reset too, but it takes longer (a couple hundred miles)
