So 320s, minus z1 power mod equal something like 315ish whp? Plus since I'm an auto maybe even less.

A lot of the really high results also have to do with the capability of the tuner themselves, I have a great tuner up here in WA who pretty much does every VQ around here. There are a lot of over factors that go into the results, I personally can't wait to get a hold of these headers and have my guy tune me (even though I have an HR 350).

I thought I had it down pat. But I was wrong. I was mislead on purpose I believe.:icon17: You want to make power out of the intake. Take it off. Turn it upside down. Inside you will see some squares/ outlines inside the intake track. That section needs to be ported and smoothed out.

I have a spare intake and I am planning on investigating having the plenum and runners modified to increase flow on the top end. My last dyno definitely points to a plain and simple flow limit.

Hmm are you talking about the inset grooves? Aren't those for the o-ring?

Or are you talking about something else?

Sneaky mofos! That makes sense. I'll see if I can't find another intake mani and play with it. It can't hurt to smooth it out a bit anyway. Any better pictures?

As an update... I got my car back, and I have genuine momentum headers... The car feels just as fast as it did before, maybe a TOUCH faster...

Thing is... I'm now running OEM intakes, so once I put the Stillen G3's back on, it should feel much faster than before. But I'll be waiting for a day where temps are the same as my original dyno run for official testing

You want these .................... but will only fit with the HR head conversion ...

Nissan VQ 3.5L - SF Taper throttle body kit - Jenvey Dynamics

I have these TB on my race car engine with air flowing straight at the inlet valve and they support air-flow to deliver 600hp (NA, @ crank).

this thread totally dies. No reviews or dynos form people who've installed them?

Eighties Meta 11-01-2013 06:09 PM

My dyno is posted. A whopping 4hp gain plus a brilliant loss of torque. Do it, you'll love the results :)
