Already have resonated HFCs I like. That's a lot for extra cost and a big hassle. It's basic paying for 2 mods for just one. I'm not in a big rush, just did 4.08 gears.

I know, I feel you, but you can have a welder hack your OEM flanges, you can put a WTB thread on the forum for some if you don't want to kill your own. You can make a WTB for some HR TPs that are broken to use the flanges.
Many options

brucelidat 08-28-2013 02:27 AM

Doesn't z1 sell flanges? Anyhow, I just want to make sure length/fitment etc is right since I can't really have my car down since it's my DD. Not in a rush so I will wait for the HR flange version. If I was, I would have bought those momentums from the 350z forum instead of tipping you off on them.

martin says buy both like it's no big deal even though he got a super deal on his, haha

For the guys that wanted the inside sound...

This is what the Stillen CAI, Z1 headers & test pipes with Litespeed exhaust setup sounds like on the inside. This car was modified by CIN Motorsports in Charlotte, NC. If any of you guys are in NC I highly recommend them. They are a top notch bunch that makes sure that it is done right. Please be gentle on the comments. Thank you...

LOL I paid $750 for a used set with z1 test pipes good deal yes, but insane deal? prob not. I am actually debating to install them for now.

brucelidat 08-28-2013 12:54 PM

well it's a great deal considering it's $895 for just the headers now not counting the TP

martin82 08-28-2013 01:03 PM

u can pick up used TP for nothing! just dont search the 350z forum! they come up for sale all the time on facebook!

brucelidat 08-28-2013 01:05 PM

well, i still don't want to have to swap my HFCs, so I'll wait and see what the deal is with the HR flange headers, the z1 HFCs they have paired up with the headers aren't resonated either

You may want to edit this post to reference your youtube username or something. Street racing posts usually get cleaned up by the mods.

Let me know if you decide to sell them in case I change my mind about getting DE HFCs. Fast Intentions does make some resonated ones for the DE, just pricey, FB me

brucelidat 08-28-2013 02:56 PM

I believe I read that z1 will be making some modifications tot he momentum design for the HR flange version. I wonder if it'll make much of a difference. Would be great if z1 could chime here and there with updates for us...
