I have a '12 and I had to remove the shield when installing my exhaust.

wow thats wierd.... maybe im not looking at the right thing? From what i can tell though, my exhaust from underneath is not in contact with anything? So its on the passenger side muffler correct? It would be on the passenger side. I also had to bend the silver exhaust sheild on the passenger side so the muffler had room to clear it and add heat wrap to the lines.

Yeah dude..... I DONT have a shield, i just went outside and took pictures.. My car was brand new from the dealer. I also did not have to bend anything or do anything else special. The exhaust bolted right up and fits perfectly. It doesn't contact anything. I don't know. My first 1/3rd part of the exhaust is also a differnet design, its separated and i had to bolt those together. (The Y pipe) Last edited by FairladyZ; 11-30-2012 at 03:54 PM. |
