They will definitely not sound anything like the short tails. I had test pipes (louder than HFC's) paired with the stock exhaust and although it was louder than completely stock, it was nowhere near as loud as my short tails setup.
I'd suggest either HFC's or resonated test pipes and a tune if you want to keep the sound and regain power. ![]()
