I just wanna know what the difference in sound is vs:

LTH's 18" Res CBE CF

LTH's 18" Res CBE SS

If you have vids of the two, I'm sold. I can't decide on CF or SS cans... I think the CF will look sick, but you reccomend SS and I don't want to go against your expertise...

I do not have comparison videos. My recommendation is that you go with the SS cans because it will sound cleaner! To me the sound is very important and if I had to make a decision over the looks can wise or the sound I would always pick the sound.

Can you explain "Cleaner" (I'm not attuned to the different sounds of the VQ engine, and not surrounded by your exausts in the shop), so to me... without prior experience, I'm just trying to learn as much as I can.

All I said was I feel the Carbon fiber did not sound as clean and smooth with headers. If you are not doing the headers than the carbon fiber is the way to go in my opinion. The difference in sound from the stainless to the carbon is so minimal as long as you do not put the headers on the car.

However, I do not feel that the carbon and headers sound bad. I just gave my opinion as to what I like. Everyone is different and everyone wants something different. Remember sound is subjective!
