Ok question for you guys. I bought my exhaust used and the person that owned it before me tracked the car so the marks seemed to be baked right in.

Ok question for you guys. I bought my exhaust used and the person that owned it before me tracked the car so the marks seemed to be baked right in.
I used Mothers metal polish tonight. Worked very well and getting most of the black off but now there are still marks that you can't even feel. If you rub your finger over these marks it feels 100% smooth. I tried to take a picture of them but it doesn't show in the pictures, the only way I can explain it is; they are like brown birth marks IN the tips. Any suggestions? The polish seems to get everything off that is on the surface but this doesn’t seem to be on the surface anymore, is this possible? Edit: I have only used a microfiber towel so far, should I use something more aggressive?
