I removed the section the hangs down a bit and heat wrapped the hoses. It rattled by itself anyway.

Funny story about my exhaust this morning:
I'm keeping my car @ my office becasue they're doing some concrete work on my driveway @ home. It's a single bay with a metal ceiling. So I open the door and there are a group of about 10 guys standing in the parking lot across the street - maybe 20 yards away. I start it up and in unison, they all jump and turn to look! LOL! It sounded like a damn F1 car starting up. If you've ever been to an F1 race, you know what I mean.

I backed out and they all walked over to the edge of the parking lot to check it out. It was all quite funny...

I'm a control room operator in a natural gas fired power plant. I park in front of the control room, backed in. So my Z is in front of the window, with the exhaust pointed at it. When I start the Z. The control room operator on shift thinks something has gone wrong in the plant and is checking the boards to see if one of the generators has tripped off line. The pure look of panic on his face throught the window is priceless. :D Once he realizes whats going on. He mother's me for a while. Cold starts with the LTH, 12" res, and cbe can be fun.

OT - on the cold starts.. ( Im in FL so its never that cold..but.. heh ) the first 30 secs to 1 min... its louder.. sounds more open throat-ed.. then it quiets down.. not a rev note.. but a open throat-ed one..

can any one explain why that is? At first I imagined it was just the time to get the oil circulating.. but it almost seems like a valve is open of some sort.. then closes?

I love that open throat-ed sound! I can only imagine what its like with LTH, HFC's, and F. I. CBE!

i'm running non-res test pipes and non-res cbe and i'm sure there's many neighbors who don't need alarm clocks anymore when i start my Z up in the garage in the morning lol

Cold start means the engine is cold not that it's cold outside. It can be 110 outside, and you will still have a cold start. All new cars rev higher than idle when you first start a cold car.

Little Update-

Yes we are alive and well. To catch everyone up on what is what. I will do both list updates real soon. The CBE list as well as the Header list. As of today we have shipped up to #492. Now the last time I did an update the list was left at #515. We have sold up to #553 as of yesterday. The biggest update thus far is coming.

The past 2 months...

We are working away on the "TT" project. Pictures are coming real soon. It will be like nothing you have ever seen for this car! The 3" project is completed and some are already shipped and been installed. More will ship between tomorrow and mid next week. I still have not launched the thread for that yet. As of today we should be finalizing the deal to move in to our new facility which will take us from 3,000 sq ft to 7,000 sq ft. We will start the move on May 1st and should be up and running by July 1st. The move should not effect production! For the locals and anyone who wants to drive, there will be a grand opening/bbq/car show sometime this summer. This is a move that is long overdue. Personally: for the few of you who knew my Dad had quadruple bypass heart surgery last Friday, thank you for your prayers. Everything went well and he is recovering. He will be back to driving me nuts in no time.

My emails have piled up and I implore anyone that is interested in a new purchase or just has any questions, please call me directly. It is by far the fastest way right now for you to get a response. We thank you all for the continued support and business.

Tony
