I don't think that hiss is avoidable, seems to be a common thing with any HFCs on these engines in general, from what's been said about it on other threads. I don't see why anyone dislikes it either, I think it's kinda neat sounding :)

I too wonder what this combo (plus hfc's) would sound like.

I'm wondering how the 18" sound.. Haven't seen any videos on these...

Man....Tony is going to hate us all, when we switch our orders from 18" to 12" :)

My only comparison I have is the past FI dual exhaust the Roadster had with FI HFC's and I loved that sound level. Especially the part about setting off numerous car alarms in the underground parking lot when starting up  Of course I had to rev the engine just a bit :stirthepot:

Yeah...I wish I knew how much quiter the 18" resonators would be as well. In any case, I think I'm going to leave my order as is because I'm getting the CF mufflers and I have a feeling it will be too loud with the 12" resonators/HF cats/CF muffler combo.

Can't wait to hear the Straight X with HFC or TP!!!!

I like LOUD! When I was in college and coming home from class, my girl (who lived with me) would know when I was almost home. She could hear me over a mile away when I started to down shift for my turn! It's always nice to pull into the drive way to see the garage door is already open for you. :D

I want great sound and perfect volume. Not too loud and not too quiet. I'm too old for too loud and too young for too quiet. :D

Hey Tony, is it possible to have the exhaust mufflers ceramic coated in black/grey high temp paint or something stealthier?

Still needs a reply on this question and a PM as well. :tiphat:

OMG... I finally was able to watch the vis. I LOVE that sound. Such a deep purr to it. Very nice. So to confirm, that was your CBE with your HFC's? Does that have the X-Pipe or a different stype of pipe... basically, if I order this setup, thats what I can expect? Or is this not the full setup yet?

Again, sick!
