Here is the video I did that was taken mostly from outside the car. It's really shaky though, but the sound is pretty accurate. I'm going to post up a full review tonight or tomorrow.

Sounds good man!!!

Thanks! Footage turned out pretty decent. I had my dad driving for most of that time, so he didn't really push it or use the paddles. I drove it for a few of the shots so people could hear what it sounds like when you downshift.

I just love how there's no rasp even with HFCs. Seems like every other CBE out there gets raspy when you add HFCs. :shakes head:

Yeah, there isn't any rasp, but there is a decent amount of hiss on decel. You can hear it a bit in the spot where it's stationary but revving a couple times. Not really a "problem" per say, but just something to get used to I guess.

Yeah, I know what you mean. The hiss is there even with stock cats. For whatever reason the X-pipe crossover is what causes it. All of the exhausts with an X pipe on the 370 have it. H-pipe crossovers are less pronounced, and then there is no hiss at all on those that don't have a crossover.

Yeah, I've seen mention of it before, it doesn't really bother me, just sounds a bit weird hearing a noise come out of the exhaust when you aren't accelerating or maintaining speed. I actually kind of like it, heh.

The funny thing is I was really afraid that this combo would of produced a lot of drone for me at highway speeds since I'm on the 7AT, but at about 70MPH it sounds no louder than stock, and at 80MPH it only sounds slightly louder, so that's cool.

I was also kind of worried that this combo would of just been to loud for me in general, but actually I definitely could of gone a bit louder (12" Resonators maybe?). Just goes to show you how subjective it is.

Yup. But I'm sure if you wanted you could find someone to swap mid-pipes with so you could get 12" resonators, or Tony could build you a set.

When I get my daily driver situation sorted out and can retire the Z to weekend fun, I think I might look to add HFCs.

Love the way it sounds... beautiful. And there'isn't rasp! Did you use F.I. HFC (300cells)?

Thanks for posting this up man. We're going to be getting this exhaust setup as well, (but with 12'' resonators and TPs). Wifey loves the CF mufflers too.

Yep it is the non-resonated ones from FI. I almost went with resonated ones, but I'm definitely happy I didn't, saved me a lot of money and I don't want it any quieter!

Flashburn - your setup sounds SICK, bro!!
