I have the 56" RR-56-2 ones.

Now I just need to find a pinch weld adapter for the low profile jack.

Those look good, but I'm not sure they'll work with lowered cars. I'll have to check and see what other options they have.

They are made with much longer ramps for lowered cars. They offer a huge variety of configurations!

Buy me one then, you know Christmas is just around the corner...

Speedy 02-20-2012 10:08 AM

The 56" works fine for my Z and the lowered Challenger, they make a 67" ramp for those of you dragging the ground LOL

We are almost there dude. I believe that I am #4 or #5 on the list of 3" TDXs. You should be one of the top 3 and those should have the front pipes that go with GTMs DPs . You may have better luck calling Tony about the status. All I know, is that your TDX will be ready before mine..............Damn you Greddy!:eekdance:

Ron 02-20-2012 02:26 PM

I'm # 000 baby!

roplusbee 02-20-2012 02:36 PM

Damn you Ron! I guess I should expect you to always be at least one step ahead , lol. Good stuff dude!

Contrary to what I originally told you, there is no #000! You are #001! I am working away here making progress. If you want an update, just call me...

Thanks, Tony

Ron 02-20-2012 03:23 PM

good enough for me :) I'm in no rush yet. I will call you towards the end of the week if I haven't heard anything.

There it is!

Tony:

You work too much dude. I am not saying that I am ungrateful, but it's Presidents Day! Hard to let the "Service" mentality/work-ethic go isn't it?

kind of a random question, but i'll be getting my TDX in a while, and i was wondering if anyone has taken any measures to protect their exhaust from scraping. i dont live in a lower car friendly town, and i'm dropped on swifts, and i've scraped a few times on speed bumps and such. nothing serious. maybe just the very bottom of the can seeing as they're the most likely to scrap and receive the most damage.

bump? :hello: lol
i gotta unsubscribe from this thread. it's a constant reminder of how far off my build is. lol

my local friend and trusted mechanic.. at first, when I told him about the FI exhaust..was like.. wait..check Nismo, etc..

I sent him to the FI site

tonight he came back, after he researched FI, spoke to some other folks he knows, etc.. and said.. "Good choice! I Love their work.."

w00t. Not that I had any doubts...

Actually you are gaining clearance going with the FI setup! I do believe by a 1/4"-1/2"! If you're not scraping stock ,you'll be all good with Tony's system!

I saw a post in here somewhere that Tony says it's 3/8" lower than stock at it's lowest point.. Not a big deal at all.

That is what is currently listed on our website. It is the height of the lowest point of our mufflers. A little less than a year ago we brought the height of the mufflers up! It is very close to the stock height if not a hair higher!

Thanks, Tony

From the time I click the "order" button and pay in full, how long until an 18" Resonated Catback w/SS tips for a 370Z would make its way out the door on the big brown truck?

Just don't back all the way into a curbed parking spot. the cans ARE in jeopardy because they themselves are lower than the laterally mounted styles. Besides, unless you are on a motorcycle, backing into parking is just GHETTO.

I back in because it's easier than backing out of a spot. It's not ghetto IMHO. Location awareness is key.

I back in sometimes as the rear is higher than the front and less likely to curb the lower air dam. I do the same thing in my Challenger since it hugs the ground.

TerribleONE 02-21-2012 10:02 AM

+1 I always back in... Guess I'm GHETTO!!

Ditto that! Easier to leave. Backing in is "ghetto" LMAO... What's next? Coming to a complete stop at a stop sign is ghetto!
