Exactly! Not only will yours look better, but it will sound better, and just generally BE better.

Lmao, my brother turned my car on one random morning I think to move it because I blocked his way, and that really pissed me off. Not that he moved my car, but because it is so ******* loud on cold start-ups. So, I kinda understand how the neighbors feel too, but I will keep continue startle them every morning. :)

Haha, he is a massive "bro" with black rims and a flat brimmed hat. Coincidentally, also drives like a tool and red lines the stone cold engine. Oh well!

Yep, I have had that happen too. At first you wake up and you're thinking "what the heck is going on" and then you hear it's your car making what might as well be baby making music. :)

well from what I have seen american speedbumps are ******* compared to our more irritating belgian speed bumps.

Where are you in Belgium? I lived in La Hulpe for a couple years and there were some sizable speed bumps in residential areas for sure. I wouldn't worry about ground clearance though, I stopped on a speed bump the other day to see how much clearance the cans have and even though my bumper touched the speed bump, the exhaust still had a couple inches to go.

ryanboy 03-15-2011 07:03 PM

anymore personal reviews on this? im leaning towards this exhaust than any other... need more feedback and personal experience please before i drop a load on it ;)

The bigger the resonators...the quieter it is

:iagree: Larger Resonator = More volume absorbed.

Performance wise, there will be no difference in Resonator Size or Muffler Style
Having a CBE, or HFC/Test Pipes/LTH's those are what will give you the increases.

It's about what kind of sound you want, both will give you the same in terms of performance, it's about how loud do you want it to be.

Non-Res means there is no Volume/Rasp reduction going on. So you're getting pure sound through your exhaust. CF is for Carbon Fiber wrapped mufflers which will alter the sound since the CF allows more sound to travel through vs the Stainless Steel cans still altering the sound more.

Sound is subjective so it's basically whatever you want yours to sound like, you can tailor the different parts of your exhaust to get the precise volume/tone you want.

ryanboy it all depends on how loud you want it to be, for me 18" resonators would be worth it since I don't want anything too loud. This is the video that sold me into this system:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ju4eBaxsxIM

18'' res, SS mufflers, stock cats

I would say its more than a hair (or at least that's what I hope). All I hear on my stock nismo is road noise haha.

Bierbeek which is near leuven.

la hulpe is most likely french belgium. I have driven around that region before and it seems much beter on the speed bumps. if I take the highway and I go from french part to dutch. its like "smooth roads" to "HOLY **** POTHOLES EVERYWHERE"

I'm very happy with the 12" res SS muffler stock cat setup. It's loud, in a very, very good way.

My guess is Airbag Suspension so you can raise it when you get to a bump...

Install is easy, and the directions Tony sends are very clear. Just make sure you get the Canadian version. :p

ryanboy 03-17-2011 11:10 PM

looking into the Optional 6"x14" round carbon fiber perforated core mufflers... besides the Carbon fiber (muffler) system weighs 41 LBS = 16 LBS lighter than stock, any other benefits? sound? performance?

performance should be the same, sound should be a little louder with the cf mufflers
