VIDEO: Stock Exhaust vs Fast Intentions w/ 12" Resonators

I got my FI exhaust installed on Wednesday so I was able to finish my head to head comparison video. This is shot entirely with a Flipcam so the audio isn't perfect but it should give anyone who's considering buying one a very good idea of how the sound of the car will change.

So far, I love mine! I don't even want to listen to my radio any more.

That's a great before and after comparison, if you add some HFCs just wait to see how much they open up the FI exhaust note even more.

Great video! The comparison brings out how anemic our stock exhausts sound. And since the recording was with same equipment, it's much easier to imagine how it would sound in person, which must be fantastic.

Thanks man! Hopefully it'll help some people make their decision about which exhaust to buy.

I can't say enough about how great the service is with Fast Intentions too. I bought my exhaust used so I didn't even send them any money and they were still happy to answer any and all questions I had.

Very nice! Is the 18" resonater much quieter? Also does the Carbon Fiber change the tone?

I've only heard the 18" resonated version in person once. PaulZ370 has it along with resonated HFCs. From the outside at least, it didn't seem much quieter but this was before I had mine installed so this is strictly from memory. We'll get a chance to hear them side by side in a couple of weeks.

Thanks for posting the video! I am really contemplating purchasing this setup...have you noticed any drone now that you've had it on for a few weeks?

There is some drone at around 2000 to 2500 but it's only when accelerating in higher gears. When you're cruising, there's virtually no drone at all to speak of.
