Nissan 370Z Forum  

HFC's. Stillen or Berk???

OK, I figured out that "HFC" is High Flow Cat and "CBE" is Cat-Back Exhaust (correct me if I'm wrong) but what does "CEL" Stand for? I assume it is

OK, I figured out that "HFC" is High Flow Cat and "CBE" is Cat-Back Exhaust (correct me if I'm wrong) but what does "CEL" Stand for? I assume it is an error message of some sort.

Seriously though. The gauge cluster doesn't actually have a light that says CEL. It's a carry over from when most idiot lights really did say "Check Engine". On our 370z cars it says "Service Engine Soon". Also known as the SES light too. You don't want this light to come on because it will bug you every time you look at the tach. It will be there taunting you.
