Awesome! I'm glad my videos are helping people out. I still think Tony should send me a commission check hahahaha, I've sent him 5 exhaust orders and a test pipe order or maybe he could just give me credit towards that sweet TT system lol.

Well.. technically you are shaving off Tony's profit because people are converting from 18" -> non-res because of you jkjk

It will definitely be more of a raw sound, but I don't think the front will be too bad in cabin. If I remember right with my headers it was 80-85db inside the car, after the GTmat install in the hatch it went down about 10db. I would imagine that the TP's would be somewhere around there. There will be some drone, but I don't think it will be overbearing. My buddy just got FI TP's, I'll see if I can't do a db reading in his car to get some good numbers.

Huck, that'd be awesome. I want to throw some sort of sound deadening in the hatch area too. road noise is almost too loud to talk over on the freeway sometimes. so you had headers and the non resonated version and drone was bearable huh?

Remember, when I spoke to blake he assured me and other ppl might agree aswell that videos enhance the sound dramatically than what it is in person and I believe you'll only here your tires rolling thab the exhaust itself (its quiet )

Let me be clear, the drone is prevalent in my car at 2250-2500 rpm. WITH the GTmat material it's still there, and once in a while people will say that they can't hear me well on the phone. I'm using bluetooth on a Pioneer deck with a mic mounted above my rear view mirror. 90% of my calls are fine though, and I can have the music playing and the sound of the exhaust and still have a normal conversation no problem. If I step on it though... Honestly I think you'll be fine, and if not you can always have resonators put in no problem.

Be prepared. It's loud af! I have non res cf and hfc with gtmat butyl in the hatch area. Between 2-3k is the most drone. My gf is starting to hate my car because of it. I love how loud and raw it is though.

lol! well, i figure.. i'm single, no kids. might as well have my fun before i wifey some girl and i'm forced by magical vagina powers to tone my radio / exhausts down(i like my stereo's loud as well)

i've just been in some cars (namely, a roommate's old honda) that droned so bad on the freeway it would give you headaches and you had to yell to talk to the other person. i know it's a different beast but i hated that car, and the drone lol

Magical vagina powers have more authority than the president

...and here's the one a friend took of mine when we were at the bottom of the Fontana Village Dam. I loved the way the exhaust echoed off of the mountains

Haha yeah, it will definitely help with the road noise. I'm also willing to bet that you still have the stock tires on there? Those things are loud as hell. Michelin PSS, Hankook Ventus V12's, or Conti DW's are great replacement tires that are much quieter.

Yeah stock tires lol.. My jeep, on foot and a half inch wide mud tires isn't even that loud and its soft top. I'm still surprised at how loud it is sometimes. I'll probably do either the PSS or RE11s, I'll look into the Conti's though, never heard of them. Hankook lost my respect after one weekend with their slicks at laguna seca
