Anyone with LTH's will tell you they are so worth it.
Granted they aren't as cheap as HFC's or TP's, but cost doesn't really matter in the end to those who enjoy the sound and boost in low end after tunes. ART pipes are TP's with a resonance chamber. That's all. Very similar to Resonated Test Pipes.

With the F.I. LTH's, I don't hear any rasp. I have the 18" res SS cbe as well. It's a slightly higher pitched (more exotic) sounding tone than with HFC's or TPs. And is actually quieter at idle than HFC's.
