What's your reason though? You just like the look? Or do you think having two separate filters will make more power? I've had the takedas for a year now and they work just fine. I highly doubt messing with the filters will make any noticeable difference.

No real reason. I found the long 18 page thread and seems like everyone that has it has no problems. (I just kinda didnt like the 1 big filter idea)
I also see someone mentioned that they did put dual filters on theirs.

I guess I will know when mine gets delivered

^ Yes it can be done .. now you have to find out the correct filter's diameter.
If Stillen G3 K&N's fit on them then this is the part # RX4990.

G.L ..

I found takeda dimensions on website, says 3in filter mouth. I measured my filters from my AEM and they are about 3in mouth.

My AEM filters are actually just at 3" or slightly smaller so was a no go. I'll eventually find some and replace the single. With the pipes having to meet the single filter in center, it was beotch to get right length and leave enough piping to crab and tighten, besides getting everything aligned.

I'll eventually dremel the radiator support holes to make it even diameter all the way through and at same time replace filter with duals. But other than that I'm happy with Takeda Attacks.

Weld on some velocity stacks -- that should make a significant difference.

Looks good. I replaced my single filter for duals.

Come this summer I need to change my filter its been on there forever. Are you guys washing these filters or just ordering a replacement? if so, where from?

axmea? 04-06-2015 10:27 PM

You should just wash these. Did mine twice already.

I just had my intake installed. It is not true that you do not have to cut anything. When mine were installed the hole had to be widened with a Dremel tool
