It won't void the entire car's warranty. It's only voided if that part directly caused another stock part to fail and then you are now trying to receive help from

It's only voided if that part directly caused another stock part to fail and then you are now trying to receive help from Nissan to have it replaced under warranty. I work for a Lexus dealer as an Assistant Service Manager so I know how this works. If that dealer gives you a hard time call Nissan customer service and ask for clarity.
