Whilst i can't say the exhaust sounds bad, i can say that a lot of the sound you're hearing is distortion, do not take that as being how beastly it

Whilst i can't say the exhaust sounds bad, i can say that a lot of the sound you're hearing is distortion, do not take that as being how beastly it sounds.

People need to make sure that when recording exhausts, they keep the microphone out of the exhaust gas, the movement of air is greater than most realise and it distorts recording equipment a lot.

Between twin exhausts like this, believe it or not, is still not a good place, imagine a cone out from the exhausts as to where the speedy gas goes.

I find off to the side is always a good place, or elevated around head height.
