no, when i say noise, i mean it in a data analysis way. there is instrumentation error in the dyno graphs that may account for the different numbers.

as far as the dyno graphs go they were done on a mustang (takeda) and a dynojet (stillen) it looks at least to me the way the stillens are is that you actually dont gain much torque until after 7250 rpm around +4-7 tq entire powerband then at 7250 it jumps to+13 where as the takeda shows a gain of about +12-15 across the entire band. the same thing goes for hp... so idk if its just the dyno difference doing that or what

To equate more precisely across dynamometers, go by % change from baseline. That will be more telling than specific change in units. It's really the only way you can somewhat meaningfully compare one type of dyno to another.

Honestly,it's almost futile to compare the results of 2 dynos of the same model, let alone different ones... But it's fun to try...

Today is the last day for WELCOME15.

Ni55anPat 06-13-2012 01:32 PM

just ordered, thanks man!

DarkJak 06-13-2012 02:05 PM

Just ordered too. So much cheaper than the Gen 3 and no cutting involved.

Realistically, will I be able to notice a sound difference while driving? I can't tell in youtube vids, since the exhaust dominates too much.

Also, this is my first mod :o

RUFFSTUFF 06-13-2012 02:24 PM

This is my first performance mod as well, and the sound doesn't seem much different but I haven't really gotten on it yet. After removing the stock intakes, this is certainly an improved system... I wonder how much air the engine gets stock!

As a side note, autoanything shipped very fast as well.

i didnt buy it to sounds "cool"....performance....performance!!
