Sounds good. How's the drone with the motordyne and test pipes? Are they Fast Intention test pipes?

Looking to switch over and maybe keep the Fast Intentions test pipes.

Drone is significantly less than the FI system for sure, you can barely hear it on the highway. I have the motordyne ART pipes, FI test pipes would sound similar if they'r the resonated ones I'd think.

I'd like to get the e370 and then a little bit later down the road a TT. Is it going to be a difficulty fitting in a turbo back into the e370 system? What will it entail in terms of removing pieces, etc? Or do you recommend a different exhaust system if I'm going to be going with a TT later?

I'm undecided on whether to get motordyne or tomei :\

You shouldn't be.

Motordyne make an exhaust that was developed for and on the Nissan, most exhaust manufacturers just make a current model/tech fit the car.

The only thing that's battling in my mind is cost... Since I'm from Australia the cost to get it shipped including the product would be around 2.7k... Whereas the Tomei muffler would be close to 1.5k... That's where my headspace is atm...

Ahh, yeah i can see that being a major factor. All i will say is that if you can justify the extra expense, it will be worth it.

I should be posting a vid of FI LTH and E370 around April or May on the dyno just in case someone wants to hear that combo. There's one with PPE but whatever.

Late thanks for the review, you just made me spend $1700
Let the wait begin!

How is this E370 compared to the ARK grip exhaust in terms of loudness and drone? I want the least drone but I don't mind loud. I right now have AAM resonated short tails with ART pipes and it drones 3200-4000.

MaDMaXX 07-21-2016 12:23 PM

The Motordyne doesn't drone.

ARK without test pipes is like stock.. My friend has one on his G37, and I couldn't tell if it was stock or aftermarket. MD is loud only when WOT. It has slight drone, and I mean by that you hear the exhaust at like 70+ miles but nothing that is annoying.

Test pipes on ARK will help, but the same can be said to MD with Test Pipes which sounds sick.

I like Fast Intentions exhaust or MD, I went with MD and don't regret it at all.

Awesome I'm pretty damn excited, I'm going to try and find a used one. New is just too expensive for me right now.

Do the FI test pipes bolt directly to the motordyne CBE? That is the set up I would like to run but not sure if I will need to fabricate anything.

If the FI test pipes are designed to bolt to stock exh (and I assume yes) then yes they'll bolt to the motordyne
