AEM Cold Air intake

I just installed my AEM cold air intake and after doing so I am left with low windshield washer fluid warning light even tho it was installed correctly and full

Default AEM Cold Air intake

I just installed my AEM cold air intake and after doing so I am left with low windshield washer fluid warning light even tho it was installed correctly and full of fluid. Any ideas what I can do to fix this?

did you disconnect the negative battery terminal for a few minutes? I'd start there and drive around for a while and see if that does anything.

Have you tried operating the window washer system... Possibly the flid drained back into the tank so when the pump is trying to draw fluid, it's taking longer to get there, so it thinks it's low/out.

its completely full. I disconnected the battery when I installed everything. but I guess I could try it. anymore ideas?

The fluid sensor might have gotten shorted during the install, or jarred the wrong way, or a plug wasn't put back... Have you tried retracing your steps through the install to make sure everything was reconnected properly?

I suddenly got a flashback of all the CRAP I had to deal with installing some of the stuff I did on my Evo when you posted this... lol man the car was fun but am I glad that it's gone.

I did the same thing on my z and I didn't think anything has to be changed or fix especially with regards to the newer versions that would affect fitment. Works on me well. I guess it never hurts to be sure though.
