Default intake but no exhaust = bad?

hey guys. had a quick question. so i was trying to find some information on R2C intake and i think im going to pull the trigger on it. My question is if i bolt it on will it be harmful to the car if i dont have an aftermarket exhaust? i cant remember where...but i think its bad, something about to much air going in but not enough air going out.

could any experts chime in.

Much appreciated. =)

No it will be fine. I ran just a CAI for about 6-7 months before I added any other mods.

it won't hurt but from a performance standpoint you are better off getting a CBE.
