Minicobra already game to get the final test fitment done. DDM is supposed to get it this weekend, dyno runs on monday. It can't hurt to wait until monday to order FI or Berk...FI is already booked through this whole month anyway.

not a fan of the stacked muffler design but the craftsmanship definitely looks superb! Good job Berk!

Can't wait to see the results of the exhaust on DDM's 370z! Looking forward to its release!

Ok, Berk Tehnology came up to Vegas yesterday and brought exhaust prototype #2 here for me to test! Exhaust prototype #1 was the one in the first video, true dual, made with mild steel just for fitment. Prototype #2 is full stainless and they have brought up both an X-Pipe and H-Pipe for me to test! Hopefully I can get in tomorrow to do a baseline dyno at a local shop, then I will proceed with the install and test both setups!

I'm sorry to be such a pest, but a weight measurement would be great as well.

Berk exhaust w/H-Pipe dyno tomorrow afternoon.

Berk exhaust w/X-Pipe dyno TBA (depends on the dyno shops schedule, but hopefully tomorrow as well)

No plans on an intake system at this time. However I will say that there is a 20% chance of Berk developing a true high performance header system for the HR motor later in 2009. That for another thread and another day though. On to the exhaust weight!

I just put the parts on our shipping scale and here's where we are.

33.2 lbs - rear muffler section
8.6 lbs/ea - B-pipes (there are two)
xx lbs - Y-pipe -The Y-pipes are out for testing at the moment, I expect them to come in around 15lbs. Will update shortly.

For a system that is a true dual (more tubing & more flange connections), with an actual tangential siamessed X-pipe, and flex sections we are taking a slight weight penalty over the factory system but the performance gains FAR outweigh the weight impact.

We could save a few pounds by going with hollow exhaust hangers and thinner flanges but we would rather forgo the 3lb weight savings and build you a more robust exhaust system that should outlast the car.
