:icon18: Probably true though.

thats how it always is, but it'd be nice to have an option that a dealership cant hassle you about lol

I'd jump on these if I wasn't spray'n but where the location is for the foam is where my foggers go. If I put it ahead of it its too close to the throttle body. If i put it after it, then the foam would disperse the fuel and nitrous a bit... :(

I hope it's not like injen design.

Looks promising! Subscribing for further details and pics! :)

Never had any water issues on my Injen equipped Nismo and have been in some heavy downpours.

Even if it is, those little foam disks pictured are specifically there to ensure you can't hydrolock your motor in the event you submerge your primary filters. In fact, I'm surprised Injen didn't have these as an option on theirs.

Oh and OP, PLEASE dyno your car with these, ideally a before and after would be great, but I'll take whatever I can get.

I have asked my conact at K&N for more details regarding the intakes... awaiting his response. Also he did mention that they have submitted these for CARB certification.

You know, I'm sure if you had the interlock filters, and were good with piping, you could prolly buy a set of injens, and mod them with these yourself... I doubt it would be that crazy of an install either.

Metal tubing I presume? That's unfortunate.

tjlazer 08-24-2011 08:23 PM

I may get these....

azn370z 08-24-2011 09:07 PM

I may get these also, I'm wanting to use a wrench.
