No cutting involved, just the removal of a shroud and the air ducts and replacing the location of the windshield washer fluid reservoir tank.

More like K&N developed an AEM-style intake with a Nismo sticker... If you all looked a little closer though you will notice that the placement of the MAF sensor (closer to OEM) is different from either a AEM or Injen CAI.

I do know they specifically requested a Nismo Z for this development process... why it would make a difference I have no idea.
