a very stupid question

I don't think it'll rub on anything since the opening will be bigger bit it wont have as much support. What I did was dremel the opening and then used

What I did was dremel the opening and then used thick 3M double sided tape on the areas the tube made contact with something. No issues or vibrations for me.
