Guys i need help on this..

I'm thinking of changing my exhaust system, but i'm not sure to go with the HKS or the Amuse exhaust. I managed to hear a person rev with his HKS on a 370z.. not bad but very quiet on its cruising.

Has anyone heard both of these exhausts before?

Which is better..

I'm from Singapore so we are only allowed to mod exhausts, cannot put in any hfcs or straight pipes..

So which would be better? Suggestions?

Price wise they are both the same here..

Haven't heard Amuse but hks is nice. Most places you aren't allowed to mess with the factory cats but people do anyway.

Anyone here have feedback on the Injen exhaust? I looked around the forum and could only find 1 or 2 threads on it. Any Injen ses owners please speak up. :-)

Apologies if this has been asked & answered-
I'm interested in a cat-back exhaust that saves weight and adds power - but it can't be too loud.

In the future I might do high flow cats, headers, and CAI, with the car's primary purpose being autocross and maybe the occasional track day. So even if the exhaust by itself isn't too bad, it'll have to help tame the rest of the car as those mods get added.

Where I autocross, and at tracks like Laguna Seca, there is a 92db limit (measured 50' off to the side), that I don't want to worry too much about going over. Would like a long distance drive to not require earplugs, too.

So, something that adds power, saves a few pounds, but isn't much louder than stock. Anything like that exist?

Thanks!
Jason

You can try getting the Powerhouse Amuse R1 Silent Titanium exhaust. Adds power, super lightweight and its a catback. Don't forget tho changing to high flow cats gonna raise your exhaust db.

So budget is $1500 for a Cbe I've looked at motordyne which I'm being quoted for $1800. I looked at ark grip and DTS. Dts is apparently quieter but louder then grip. I will only take a FI if it comes up for sale not waiting 4 months.

My main priority is clearance then sound and gains. Sound probably trumps gains but most of the exhaust are close in gains. I can't think of any other exhaust to research though seems many moved toward arks, motordyne, and FI. The early released exhaust don't hear much about anymore except of course FI. Any other recommendations to check out?

SOHO motorsports in charlotte, NC used my car to make their single exit 3 inch exhaust, they are now offering these for the 370 line. this is the prototype so I am not sure if its exact to how the final product will find its way to the rear bumper. I did have it a zdayz so a few of you have already heard it in person most likely. just thought id share it with you guys to see what you think!?

car made 306HP and 247LB/FT with the exhaust and nick made a few small adjustments to the fuel table. car made 301 and 244 before the adjustments!

Car still has factory y pipe and cats. changing the y-pipe and everything next

The SOHO single exit exhaust was just finalized last week. the exhaust is more tucked up under the car and sounds a little deeper than the video I posted. I will make a new video soon of the new one. the exhaust is a bit more straight now so I guess that changed the tone a little.

As for price they're charging 700 dollars for the y-back section. not sure if that includes a resonator or not.

general opinion.

hey guys i just want to make a quick thread about people opinions about berk exhaust. i bought my car with berk on it and im broke paying off the car so theres rlly no money for mods. i love the sound of it. today a kid said i need a new exhaust and that berk sounds stock. (his parents buy him everything and he drives a genesis 2.0 AUTOMATIC) lol anyways he was telling me its quiet and not deep and that i havent heard a nice 370z exhaust. i want motordyne but i have to PAY for it not my parents . so im just a bit frustrated because hes my friend and hes saying **** but anyways how do u guys think berj compares to stock?

Just pick up a set of used HFCs from the classified section here. A few hundred bucks and it will change the sound of your exhaust completely.
