Also you lose lower end torque but gain very little HP at the high RPMs. I don't know how true the HP gains are, but you will have a torque loss but the sound is sooooo worth it. I watched all Nick's videos (thanks) and it sounds even meaner and better in real life. Great purchase.

Also Khoi has very fast shipping (also free).

Thanks a lot Elan!!! I have to hear that again and make sure what im going to do lol because my car its for DD and I don't want to lose my hearing loool!!!

It's not too bad with the windows down. Windows up driving can be pretty bad. But again I love this exhaust and I wouldn't trade it for anything else. Videos don't really do this system justice. It's much louder in person. I was shocked when I first cranked it up.

Just wanted to say-
After long and tiring deliberations with my roommate, I finally came to the consensus to get an exhaust system. I paid $460 for a Top Speed Pro-1 non-resonated catback. It's lacking a Y-Pipe, but you can clearly hear the car from 200 yards away.

After I amass some more funds, a Y-Pipe and HFCs are on the way to increase the sound further. I highly endorse Top Speed Pro-1 though. Almost zero rasp!

??? The Top Speed catback is an x-pipe exhaust... Did you get it used? The Top Speed exhaust is plenty loud (and cheaply made) which I why I now have an Invidia.

Has anyone heard both the Litespeed and Motordyne exhausts? Currently I have the Litespeed and while I love the sound when I'm driving hard, the drone that it has during my commuting is really starting to get to me. I guess half a year abroad really resensitized me to it.
I heard the Motordyne exhaust is really low drone and also similarly aggressive in sound. Can anyone chime in on it?
Yeah I'd gain back about 20 lbs in the rear, but I think I'd be okay with that since our cars need more weight there for an even weight distribution anyway.
Good move? Dumb move?

Just a notch up from nismo cbe

Moving to a quieter neighborhood. What exhaust is just a tad bit louder than nismo?

I hate to think about selling my fi cf 12" but looks like I need to go down in volume, a lot.

Stillen. quiet when not on it but loud when you put the pedal to the floor.

Top Speed? I just heard one again for the first time in a few months. It's really quiet compared to my Stillen

Ark grip, hks, CNT, etc... Do not get stillen if you want quieter.

asdfsammich 08-09-2013 10:43 PM

Yeah, I was looking at ark grip and hks.

Also looked at ark dts since the mufflers are tucked in, but is it louder than grip?

Invidia is an option as well

RUFFSTUFF 08-11-2013 09:05 PM

Love my Gemini! Far better quality than the Top Speed and only a few hundred more...
