![]() Nothing a Dremel tool with cutting wheel and grinding stone couldn't handle. Pushed it pretty far back, it ended up about 1/8" behind flush. It helps to grind the inside weld so it slides easier, even then I had to use a mallet and rod and tap it back and forth to move it back. ![]() ![]() ![]() Now this is cold, it was about a 1/2" farther out when it was warm. So I'm not sure if I'll leave it there or push it back some more. I was starting to get to the curve of the pipe, so not sure how much more I could go without the tip getting cockeyed. Regarding fitment, this is my first exhaust install so I don't know what a normal tolerance is. But I thought it was mediocre. Flanges were somewhat off and one flex joint was tilted, although its flange aligned ok. The tips were not level and I had to lower the passenger side 1/4" to get them to look good. Overall not a big deal, everything was tweakable for even a novice. The sound is glorious ![]() Last edited by BrandonT; 06-12-2011 at 09:10 PM. |
