Default Intake Resonator Came Loose/ Louder Exhaust

I noticed this weekend that all of a sudden my car was louder than normal. It's already pretty loud as it is. So I decided today to give a once over to inspect everything. Suspension, exhaust, oil cooler, and tires as I do every other week.

As I was lifting my car on the lift I noticed the intake resonator that connects to the my Gen3 intakes was off. Not sure how it backed off for the worm gear clamp was still tight. Even had to loosen it to slide the rubber hosing back on. Well I got it back right. Started it up and now the exhaust is back to what I'm used to. Still think it's pretty strange this would cause the exhaust to be that much louder? Anyone have this happen?

If it was off then you were sucking in un-metered air. Who knows what that could cause.

Yea that's what I was thinking. But it wouldn't be much being such a small opening. But oh well.

I dunno man, from the standpoint of a tune that's a lot of air heh.

Anyways, I thought you ditched the resonators?
