Everyone explains that it gives you a better average torque to hp range. Like I have said this is what I was told so I asked my friends that work for some Nascar teams (I live near charlotte and mooresville) and they told me that this is how the exhaust is on the race cars they work on. Although you have to keep in mind most race cars run at very high rpms, so with normal street driving it may not make a difference.
True...I can see the point in regards to high RPM's and exhaust scavenging effects from pressure and all...(<---cant explain it in scientific verbiage)....but get the point. Its just that for us Nismo owners...the rear portion of the exhaust has 2 feed pipes from the H pipe. So if we want to change out the H pipe....we need to replace it with a H or X pipe that still has 2 exits to feed into the rear muffler section.

I suppose that there are no "vendors" that really are going to do this for "mass production" and everyone will have to find a local shop to fab that part then. Kind of a bummer....but guess that this is where this is going.

Thread bounce ....

Has anyone found a bolt on replacement yet for the NISMO H-Pipe?

I am not willing to pay the price of admission for the AMUSE piece even though it is a great piece of kit. It would look better on a wall in my house than under the car ...
