Interesting design~looks like a SRI. If they can make it longer, then it will have more performance gain. I'll give it a shot~hope BC is not too far for them! Just something sounds hot with my matte white Z

Interested to see results. Was the 350Z price listed for a single intake or dual?

I'm sure they ship stuff across North America, if not deolee I'll pick one up for you and ship it.

I actually don't know much about this intake, I was going to get the R2C intake but I'm going to see what this offers before I buy it now. Read some reviews for other vehicles, the gains are impressive.

I'm just worried about the heat will soak the intake due to the length of the intake. Oh well~I can always test it right? We need more info. on it, like piping diameter and what brand is the filter element.

Actually, they could develop a boot for the end of it that would plug right into the OEM bumper inset just like the factory airbox.

If they do that, you've got a (theoretically) improved design than maintains OEM cool air ducting with potentially improved flow characteristics, and zero chance of hydrolock.

Given that the filter isn't exposed, it would have excellent heat shielding too by virtue of its design.

Whoever tests, see if you can get them to do that.

Hi everyone,

I gave PRM Racing a call yesterday and confirmed that he is looking for a tester, it's really at the early stages of prototyping. He also mentioned that he was looking for a stock to test with, he will build prototypes and need to do multiple dyno's to see which prototype produce the best gains.

I offered to be a test mule and to help him out for the whole prototype process. Z eliminator for more of their product & contact information check out their website Welcome to PRM Racing - Jet Stream Intake System

Jordo that's a good idea, I'll bring up your suggestion to see what he thinks. I'm no engineer so be cool if everyone can give some inputs.

Thanks

It shouldn't be too hard to fabricate something like that. They just need to make a mold of that badge shaped plastic piece from the front of the airbox, add a coupler to connect it to the end of their intake, done.

If they do it right, it should fit nice and snug just like OEM, and have access to cool air from the bumper.

Hell, combine a modshack fang vent with that, and you've got ram air.

Hi everyone,
Just an update. I went up to PRM Racing and they did some measurements, currently they are working on a prototype. Their designs are more like SRI pointing toward the suction airbox. That's it for now.
