Did they tell you what the codes were? |
Anyone who has been asking about discounts on the Gen 3's. They are on sale until June 1st right now!
STILLEN Gen 3 Intake Sale!!! Ends June 1st! |
I have the G3 on my 370 and have been having some issues...I felt like I lost some power and took it in to get looked at. Tech says the intakes may be causing my gas to be running lean. Any merit to this or should I keep looking for other causes?

I ran mine for over a year no problems. Has anyone checked the codes? ^^^^ do you have codes or going of butt dyno. These cars run so rich from the factory that intakes alone wouldn't cause a lean issue unless you have leaks in the system after the MAF's. Try cleaning the filter, Over a year should be cleaned anyways and clean the MAF's.
I have a friend who was fully bolted , Headers ETC, and wasn't so lean he had problems. He drove it that way for over a year before getting a tune. |

STILLEN Longtube G3 Intakes. Review, Dyno and Impressions.
At the time of my diagnostic with Nissan I didn't think of asking them for the codes.
According to the sales associate at stillen, I won't mention his name, I didn't have to clean my air filters until at least 50,000 miles, my car only has 28k miles on it. However, I noticed that Stillen now has an oil filter and dry filter. I will clean out the filters, but at least I'm not the only one with the same issue. -Adalvar |

Inspection is always the key. Just look at them every 10k miles or so and see how the filter is doing. If the wire mesh doesn't have build up on it yet you are okay. |
