Amuse Products Now Available
Amuse has now officially released these new exhaust products with pricing to the public:
R1 Extra STTi This exhaust exercises the latest of Amuse/Nippon Steel ingenuity. This exhaust provides the STTi (Super Tough Titanium Option) and shaves off 19lbs. over stock. http://i584.photobucket.com/albums/s...34b3_W1200.jpg RS-Silent STTi As you can see this exhaust is focused more on flow and sound control. It is still one of the lighter exhausts available and stills provides great performance. http://i584.photobucket.com/albums/s...6eff_W1200.jpg Super Silent Sports Catalytic Converter Set This set includes a front pipe and two high flow cats for better flow and emissions control. http://i584.photobucket.com/albums/s...309a_W1200.jpg When ordering an Amuse exhaust you are able to choose the gradation finishes of your liking. Optional gold rings are available for an additional cost. http://i584.photobucket.com/albums/s...4681_W1200.jpg Please PM for pricing and availability if interested. Serious inquiries only. ;) . |
I see you have custom setups avail. So is it possible to get a angled cut tip and with out the purple/blue colors? Just a nice silver finish?

Hey...that video is by the high-speed dude racing down some of Japan's streets! Does he work for Amuse? If so can you please tell him to repost the video exhibiting the factory backup camera? Thanks.
Is the video of the single or dual pipe system? And do you give student discounts? |

I can help you out with a "student discount" ;) ...PM me if you are interested. |
yeah.. it's the crazy dude from Japan.. Here's the original thread, 370ztune, http://www.the370z.com/intake-exhaus...z-exhaust.html .

Are there any performance benefits to gain by going with a single pipe exhaust instead of a dual pipe exhaust?
Or is it just lighter? |
probably about $1500 worth of benefit.
Beautiful exhaust. reminds me of their e92 M3 exhaust...which is just plain artwork. |

Hey. I just sent you a PM with several questions. Will you take a look at them?
Also, can we expect a Y Pipe from Amuse? Any other cool parts??? |

I think it is safe to say that we can expect a Y Pipe from Amuse in the future, as well as suspension and aero, maybe even a GT1 or JGTC inspired widebody. None of this is for sure but based on their products with the Z33, the S2000, and the GT-R, I think that everything I mentioned is a definite possibility. |
Thanks!!

We just found out from Amuse that they are offering a new tip design for 2009. The new tip will involve a thicker tip wall with a purple burn around the edge.
http://www.the370z.com/members/370zt...288-09tail.jpg Here is a picture I found of an Amuse Z33 Y-Pipe. http://i460.photobucket.com/albums/q...t-pipecopy.jpg |
Any chance of posting dynos of both pipes?
Also, on your site, it's confusing. In one location, it says the Extra single pipe saves 20.9 lbs., but then it also says 19 lbs. directly underneath there. It also says 19 lbs. and 21 hp. for both the Silent and the Extra pipe, but it seems hard to believe they're both the same... Love the looks of these, love the weight savings - just need more info and more vids (sorry - I'm impatient). |
will that new tip be available with the Gold ring?

The R1-Extra is 1.15kg, roughly 2lbs, lighter than the RS-Silent. Currently we do not have any dynographs for the R1-Extra. Based on the form and design of each exhaust, I think it is safe to say that out of the box, the R1-Extra probably provides a little bit more back pressure and less weight; the RS-Silent has more potential for more power gains with other mods. With the R1-Extra, when you order the exhaust, for an additional $200 you can upgrade the two 50mm piping to two 60mm piping. This option helps the R1-Extra with its potential for more horsepower gains with other mods. Once we receive dyno charts from Amuse for the R1-Extra we will be posting those everywhere so keep checking back on our website and threads for updates. Quote:

sweet!

Well, I am see it is the larger piping makes sense IF you plan on heavy upgrades. I don't plan on anything more than catback (y pipe included), maybe an intake, and a tune.
Does that make sense???? I see the larger piping for turbo applications. |

Here are a few pics of an Amuse RS-Silent exhaust that we just acquired for a Z client earlier today:

^Absolutely gorgeous
This client owns a Z34? |
Looking at that makes me regret not getting it. But still, 4.5K+ for the whole exhaust is just so much...
|
Simply stunning.

We might stock the Amuse high flow cats and front pipe for the Z34 if we see enough demand for it, but as of now a majority of focus for Amuse has been towards their catbacks. Quote:
