Amuse just released an R1 version of their high flow cats. These cats look the same as the Silent Cats, but has less restriction inside for more free flow, different sound, and more performance.

Once we get some pictures I will post them for everyone's viewing pleasure .

Hunter, any idea what the dB rating is on the R1000? Without a resonator would it go over the legal limit? Also, any word on the weight savings for that full single pipe vs the R1 Extra?

The pictures you posted the top Y pipe doesn't look like the ones below! their design are different. and doesn't the Y pipe should have a spring joint or the thing on the MINDS Y pipe (don't know the name of it) so the Exhaust system is flexible for vibration or pumps? Do they have more then one Y design for the Z34? if they do whats the different between them TQ and HP?

Don't know, but this is so confusing for me.
but for me or for the rest of us to make a decision and invest on this system. we need clear info's. and if we can have sound clips of the different variation we have here.

Thanks and sorry for my poor English.

Hunter,
Please PM the price for R1000 exhaust, as well as if the exhaust db reading will stay in the legal limit.
Oh, I need shipping cost to Vancouver Canada as well.
Plus, would this exhaust compatible with twin turbo set up if I decide to drop a nice set of turbos??
Thanks,

Alex

Make sure you get a firm commitment on shipping....... I am sure I will have a not too great story to tell about Bulletproof after this week about that....

And Phalen does not have the R1000 he has a modified R1 Titan enlarged for turbo duty. The R1000 is a single exit exhuast and probally would be even more suitable to a turbo (and cheaper).

Has there been an issue with your shipping? I'm sorry that I do not know your name offhand as I'm a bit new to this forum in particular after taking over for Hunter, but I'd like to find out your order information to make sure everything is going smoothly and as expected.

Just wanted to post this up for all after my comments I made a couple months back. I did have an issue with a part order made by another vendor through 370Z Tune. It was not a good experience as I had waited for over 6 months and still could not get as much as an update on where my part was. Naturally I was very upset and had to order that part through another vendor.

However, Mike, as you see above, reached out to me. He knew I was in the market for the Amuse exhaust parts (great customer research Mike!) and reached out to me. He went above and beyond to make this right in my mind. He could have cut his losses and let it ride, but he did not. Needless to say, he gave me a killer deal on the Amuse parts and has been outstanding to work with providing constant updates on my questions (this includes him proactively reaching out to me on updates - outstanding).

I am not sure WHAT went so badly wrong with my last order that had to go through 370Z Tune, but there has been a change in their philoshophy in a large way. Well done, outstanding service Mike. Looking forward to getting my exhaust!!
