Amuse just released an R1 version of their high flow cats. These cats look the same as the Silent Cats, but has less restriction inside for more free flow, different sound, and more performance.
Once we get some pictures I will post them for everyone's viewing pleasure :driving:. -Hunter |

I'm interested in the R1 Extra STTi (with 60mm pipe), But I'm waiting for the dyno result (are they out yet?). I'm also going for there titanium Y pipe, and there HFC. and how can i tell witch HFC i get ? if its the restricted one or there new design (the higher flow ones)? The pictures you posted the top Y pipe doesn't look like the ones below! their design are different. and doesn't the Y pipe should have a spring joint or the thing on the MINDS Y pipe (don't know the name of it) so the Exhaust system is flexible for vibration or bumps? Do they have more then one Y design for the Z34? if they do whats the different between them TQ and HP? Don't know, but this is so confusing for me. but for me or for the rest of us to make a decision and invest on this system. we need clear info's. and if we can have sound clips of the different variation we have here. Thanks and sorry for my poor English. |
Hunter, any idea what the dB rating is on the R1000? Without a resonator would it go over the legal limit? Also, any word on the weight savings for that full single pipe vs the R1 Extra?

Hunter,
Please PM the price for R1000 exhaust, as well as if the exhaust db reading will stay in the legal limit. Oh, I need shipping cost to Vancouver Canada as well. Plus, would this exhaust compatible with twin turbo set up if I decide to drop a nice set of turbos?? Thanks, Alex |
