I tried jumping on it at the better price. I still haven't heard anything!

Please make one that fits a Stillen exhaust... :)

There is a post on here somewhere with the ones spearfish had made (i bought them) on my car with berk test pipes... it is an intense sound with test pipes but not for the faint of heart :D

i soooo want these!!! this is exactly what i've been waiting for!! the price just seems a little excessive though -_-

That's neat, they look very nice too.

I'd like to see the graphs and decibel meter as well!

shawn84 12-27-2010 04:33 PM

yes. plz do somthing on the price.... plzzzzzzz.......

Dan Z Man 12-27-2010 07:16 PM

i'm not one to complain about prices usually, factoring Research and development and what not, but to be honest, considering it's stainless steel, and 2 little pipes, i truly believe the price should be lower.

i'm not saying they aren't amazing! just a little much for 2 little pipes :)

I think their R&D department would have posted the dyno results if they were positive......:icon14:

I'm leaning towards "pass" on this purchase until we get dyno results.

I don't see how it can negatively impact power over the stock muffler. The level of restriction in the exhaust goes like this in my opinion (1 being the most):

1) Stock catalytic converters
2) Stock Y pipe
3) Stock muffler

I am sure these will provide decent gains since they are eliminating a pretty convoluted stock muffler design.

Information purposes - AAM, if you want this deleted PM me.
Stock muffler internally..

well that's quite..interesting looking lol

VQinside 12-28-2010 05:09 AM

I'm sure its those little holes inside the stock muffler that take away the signature sound the 350z used to have :shakes head:

GZ3 12-28-2010 09:54 AM

wow if you know anything about exhaust scavenging, you can see that this might be the most restrictive part of the 370Z's exhast....worst than the cats i would venture to say

Kastley85891 12-28-2010 10:02 AM

Its a world of suck......

AAM - let us know on mufflered versions..... ;-)

I am interested in dual straight through muffler designs as well. I know that AAM Competition and the Megan racing dual mufflers are the only axle back designs for the 370Z. There is also the HKS Legamax but it is real expensive for an axle back. I only wanted a bit more sound since the Nismo exhaust is already an "H" design for true dual exhaust but very quiet. I did do the washer mod but it was a bit too loud for me and the exhaust note is not what I was looking for.
