Average install price for HFC?

I think I'm going to purchase some HFC's in the near future and was wondering the price you guys are paying for installation. Any info would be appreciated!

I personally would always recommend doing it yourself, but the average price that I have seen here is anywhere from $50 to $100. It can be higher if the installer runs into issues removing the header to cat bolts though.

If they know about the demon bolt, they will charge you more. Use a 6 point socket if you're going to do it yourself and not a 12 point. I used a 12 point because I didnt have a 6 point. Let's just say I learn my lesson, an expensive lesson.

My tools consist of a small socket set and a bunch of screwdrivers. I will not be doing the install.

So $285 for the install would be considered high I assume?

Yes, that is outrageously high. Even if they were also doing the exhaust that would be high.

Not sure how far south you are, but there is a sposnor here that you may want to consider. I think it was AZP Installs or something. Their quotes are very fair.

I'm pretty far south but I will definitely check them out. I don't have a problem driving 2 hours if the price was right.

Try Akuma, they are usually pretty fair.

I paid $135.

I think $100-$150 would be a fair price. Should be about 1-2 hours of labor. Took the shop I used about 1.5 hours.
