Just saw this.... I had an issue with the weld on one of the flanges that connect to the cat; it was only welded half way around and had a massive leak. Not sure how they missed that, but they sent me a replacement pipe, and I have not had any issues in the 5000 miles since installing.
I also have a loose hanger that is rattling on one side. I am not sure if the Z exhaust is the same (I have a G37 sedan), but the hanger on the muffler is 2 pieces and the part that attaches to the car slides over the piece that attaches to the muffler. On one side there is a weld holding the 2 together, and the other side is missing the weld altogether. Again just looked like over-sight on their (QA?) part. Overall, the welds and quality look good, but I think, at least in my case, it was a QA issue. As mentioned, you get what you pay for. In the end, Invidia took care of the major issue, and at some point I will get a quick weld on the hanger to address the other issue.
